CHCG’s Wilcox named Executive Director of the Women’s High-Tech Coalition
(Washington, DC) – February 9, 2016 – Capitol Hill Consulting Group is pleased to congratulate Vice President Kristina Wilcox, who was recently chosen to serve as the new Executive Director of the Women’s High-Tech Coalition.
The Women’s High-Tech Coalition (WHTC) was founded in November 2000, to bring together senior level women in technology-related arenas to promote the exchange of ideas among leaders in the public and private sectors whose focus is technology, innovation, and the development of public policy related to technology. In addition, the WHTC participates in events with the Congressional Women’s High-Tech Caucus.
Wilcox, who joined CHCG in 2007, has experience advocating for technology policy on Capitol Hill and adds a unique, in-depth knowledge of the history of the tech industry, having recently written her doctoral dissertation on the history of a major international technology company.
“The WHTC Board of Directors and I are excited that Kristina is taking on this leadership role,” said Grayling’s Mary Clare Fitzgerald, WHTC’s current President. “ Kristina’s expertise and enthusiasm will enable the WHTC to continue offering strong programs and unique networking opportunities to women who work on technology policy.”
