Previously, Ashlyn worked for CHCG as a Legislative Intern during the Summer of 2022 covering a broad set of issue areas for the firm. She served as a Session Writer for a Texas-based lobbying firm throughout the 88th Texas Legislature. Additionally, she was a political intern for the Texas Democratic Party, a field organizer for both state and federal campaigns, and an intern for Representative Penny Morales Shaw’s (TX-148) office in the 87th Texas Legislature.

Ashlyn graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Political Communications and a minor in Business. She was on the Moody College Dean’s List and graduated with honors. Ashlyn is originally from Lubbock, Texas.
