Eric Kros joined Capitol Hill Consulting Group in May 2020, bringing experience in tax policy, non-profit advocacy, and local/state government relations.
Eric primarily works with CHCG’s agriculture, Tribal, energy, and tax clients. In his role, Eric manages legislative support staff, authors weekly legislative updates, drafts RFPs, provides hearing coverage, schedules fly-ins, and assists with meeting preparation. Eric also assists in the coordination of client’s government affairs strategy.
Prior to joining CHCG, Eric spent two summers as an intern at a Washington, D.C. based lobbying firm that specialized in tax and trade issues and was a legislative monitor for a Kansas based lobbying firm for the 2020 state legislative session. Additionally, he interned in Senator Deb Fischer’s (R-NE) office and worked at the Senator Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics.
Eric graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.G.S. in Political Science and Public Administration with a minor in Business. While at the University of Kansas, he was awarded the Robert Hemenway Public Service Award which honors an individual’s leadership and commitment to public service. Eric is originally from Omaha, Nebraska.
